But no one had expected Sylvia to have lost her memories of the past decade. Now that Victor Morgan had told her the truth, she couldn't accept it and grew agitated instead.
Sylvia clutched her head, shaking it frantically. "Impossible," she cried out again and again. "This is impossible! Victor just told me he loved me yesterday. He wouldn't hurt me like this."
Seeing her blood pressure steadily rising, the doctor warned them worriedly, "The patient's condition is becoming dangerous. I suggest you don't agitate her further. She's only suffering from temporary amnesia, so there's no need to rush. It won't be too late to talk once her condition has stabilized."
