Victor Morgan had no interest in wasting words on her. The only reason he was letting her live was to get the antidote for Vera Warner's poison. Otherwise, he would have dealt with her long ago.
Luna Warner could no longer deny it. The evidence was right in front of her.
She said earnestly, "Victor, I... I don't actually know where the antidote is. Someone else gave me the poison."
Her words only enraged Victor Morgan further. He lunged forward and grabbed Luna Warner by the throat, his grip strong enough to snap her neck.
"I don't want to hear this nonsense. Tell me, where is the antidote? If you try to deceive me in the slightest right now, I'll choke you to death."
Victor Morgan's patience had run out. His words dripped with murderous intent. He wished he could just end this vicious woman's life right then and there. He should never have let her go, which had led to this very situation.
