After all this hardship, the day had finally arrived. Everything was in place. The models were fine, and after a two-day, two-night rush, the outfits were finally ready.
Vera Warner asked in confusion, "Why are you refusing to do the show? We signed a contract, and you've already been paid. My fashion show is about to begin, and you suddenly say you're not walking. Are you deliberately trying to make my life difficult?"
Vera had to restrain her explosive temper; otherwise, she would have loved to smash their heads in.
But the other party was adamant. "We'll pay double the penalty for breaking the contract. The point is, we're leaving."
As they spoke, they actually started taking off the clothes, showing no intention of negotiating.
Vera shouted, furious and exasperated, "Don't take it too far! At the very least, you have to tell me why you're doing this. Even if you're breaking the contract, you should at least tell me the reason."
