Vera Warner frowned. "You mean this earring might belong to a factory worker? And it wasn't left by the culprit?"
Victor Morgan shook his head. "This diamond is extremely expensive. I'm afraid only someone of the highest status could own it. But why would someone like that be in a place like the warehouse? So, the only possibility is that the culprit left it behind."
Vera Warner completely agreed with Victor Morgan's analysis. She had already found the situation bizarre. 'Could it really have something to do with the Morgan family?'
"Then what's going on? If the culprit can afford Morgan's Jewelry, would they really be so desperate for money that they'd burn down this factory? Or is someone trying to get at me to take revenge on you?"
