They had worked hard all day, but the search and rescue team still hadn't found them. All they could do was keep trying, absolutely refusing to give up hope.
"Vera, don't be disheartened. We're together. Even if we really can't go back, it would be worth it to spend the rest of my life here with you."
Vera Warner's heart warmed at his words. If she didn't have other commitments, she would love to stay here with Victor Morgan forever, far away from everyone else's intrusions.
But she knew that was impossible. There were far too many things waiting for them to handle back home.
And most importantly, there were their two children. They had to go back, no matter what.
"We'll continue tomorrow. This will take time; it won't happen that fast. We have to give people time to find us."
"I just want to get back sooner. We've already lost a day, and I have no idea what's happening in Aethelgard. Especially the kids... I've been gone for a few days now. I wonder what they're thinking."
