After two full days at sea, they finally reached the shore. Vera Warner was looking much better, and among those waiting to greet them were Landon Ellison and his wife.
The couple was moved to tears at the sight of Vera. Mrs. Ellison, in particular, rushed forward and pulled her into a hug.
"Vera, you're finally back! We were worried to death."
