Victor Morgan had dinner with her, but he was really just stalling for time so that Special Assistant York could find Mrs. Ellison as quickly as possible.
He knew all too well that Vera would see this and be extremely worried. So, the only thing he could do was find Mrs. Ellison.
"Victor, I'm full. What should we do now? Go home?"
Victor shook his head. "A new movie just came out. Let's go see it together. It's been a long time since we've seen a movie together."
'Vera' was, of course, overjoyed and nodded. As long as she could be with Victor Morgan, she would do anything.
"Okay! I was just thinking I'd like some alone time with you."
Victor ruffled her hair and took her to the movie theater. The movie was starting in about ten minutes, so Victor went and bought some snacks for her.
'Vera' was filled with joyful anticipation to be with Victor. Just as she was about to head into the theater, Victor got a call.
