Yuuji's lifeless body is laying on the spider web and the curse is standing right behind him. Megumi is tired after using too much curse energy at once. He is breathing heavily.
"Now it's your turn to join your friend, you both will be a good meal for my children. Khekekhe..."
Megumi's mind is in a mess, his eyes are clouded over,
'First, I have to save Itadori and put him in a safe place. Should I use Nue to bring him to Gojo sensei so that after reading the situation he can come to help or maybe send someone.'
Many thoughts are coming in his mind but he can't come to a certain conclusion.
*Gasp*
Suddenly he noticed that the red threads started surrounding Yuuji's body.
"Don't worry, I will keep your friend safe till you join him."
With that being said, the curse run towards Megumi. Yuuji is now totally wrapped up in the red threads and pulled down to the large red web.
'There is no time for me to think now, I have to face this curse and save Itadori.'
Megumi took his position to dodge any attacks towards him, the curse is coming towards him and on the other hand the divine dog jumped at the curse to blow an attack. There is no other spiders on the divine dog's way so it went directly towards the curse's face, more specifically it's eyes.
When a red thread suddenly came out of no where and grabbed on to the divine dog's right leg. But it cut the threads with its sharp claws and turned again to attack the curse.
'I need to distract the curse with this fight and I will go to save Itadori. But the problem is those steel like red threads.'
Megumi was thinking of ways to save Yuuji when he noticed a small red spider web coming towards him and he dodged by a little.
He fall on his back, the curse turned towards him when the divine dog attacked on the back of the curse, it left a deep scar on the back but it didn't even took a minute to go back the way it was.
Megumi get back up and tried to some distance between him the fight so that he doesn't become an obstacle.
He is low on curse energy, therefore he need to remain calm and gather as much curse energy as possible.
The divine dog jumped again to blow an attack on the curse's eyes,
*Whoooosh*
'WHAT....?!!'
Megumi can't believe what he just saw, the big curse spider, suddenly shrank into a small spider, which is half of the size of the other thousand spiders here which are the size of an average adult.
However the divine dog did not stop, it was about to attack the now shrank curse. The curse used it small size avoid all the attacks.
The curse is running and the divine dog is keep following and attacking him. The curse went a little far and vanished....
'What.... Where did go!! Did.... Did it just v-vanished....?!!'
The curse is nowhere to be seen, it was there just a few seconds ago and now nothing is there.
Megumi and the divine dog looked around, other human sized spiders are gathered around the corners of the room leave this space for their leader to fight but where is it.....
"Screeeeeeechhh"
That same weird noise came out of nowhere, but this time it's more louder. Megumi's ears started ringing, the divine dog is also affected due to this weird noise.
"Grrrrrr....."
The divine dog is growling and trying to find where the sound is coming from but it feels like the sound is coming from all over the room. Other spiders are seem not so affected with this noise.
Megumi is covering his ears with his two hands when he felt something wet on his finger tips. He took a look on his fingers,
'BLOOD....'
Megumi's ears are bleeding, his head is a mess now, he can't think straight...
'It's hard to defeat this curse, I think I HAVE to use my domain expansion before it gets too late.'
Megumi is tired and low on curse energy but this is a do or die situation, therefore he have go beyond his limits. He was about to release the divine dog when he saw that suddenly a large red spider web came out from right down where the divine dog is standing.
In just a few seconds, that spider web wrapped the divine dog and pulled it down.
The divine dog was distracted due to the weird noise and therefore wasn't able to react on time.
'What.... What should I do...?!!'
The weird noise is keep getting louder and louder,
"I have to use domian expansion.....!!'
Megumi released the divine dog and clasped his hands,
"Ughhh...."
'Wh-what happened..... Why my stomach is in pain....?!!'
His ears are bleeding because of the noise but now blood is coming out from the corner of his mouth, he put his left hand on his stomach when he felt something wet. He looked down on his stomach, his stomach is bleeding heavily.
"Khekekhe"
He heard the same laugh from before, Megumi is loosing the strength from his legs, his mind is going blank. He somehow turned his head a little to side, to see the curse behind him in its original size. The curse's hand or maybe it's front leg which it used to stab Megumi from behind is drenched from his blood.
Megumi is about to loose his sight,he can't open his eyes anymore, he is about to unconscious.
"Mmgh....."
Megumi felt something wrapped around his hands and the stomach where he was stabbed. He has no strength to open his eyes, he can just feel his surroundings.
The red threads are wrapped around Megumi and it's end is on the curse's tail, the curse moved it tail at right,
*Bang*
On the other end of the thread where Megumi is wrapped flew towards the same direction and banged on the wall like black hard surface. The curse turned its tail towards left l,
*Bang*
Megumi flew left and banged on the left black hard surface.
Megumi's head started bleeding, Megumi is bleeding from all over his body, he is breathing heavily...
'Is it the end...?? A_are we going to die here? I wish I were a bit more strong at least to save Itadori. *Silence* Nobara is supposed to come here, what if...'
Tears started coming out of Megumi's eyes. He is the strongest and with more experience than his other two friends but it was still not enough to save them.
Suddenly the image of that night came in his mind, the night when he and Sukuna were sitting on the roof,
'If I ask for his help will he help me..... If I call for him..... Will he...'
"S....S-sukuna"
It was a really low voice like whispering, Megumi subconsciously called for his only hope. His whole body is aching, he have no strength to fight back but he still have one hope.
He felt his body being pulled again, he is ready to begin slammed on the wall again.
The curse moved its tail and Megumi flew towards right, he was about to slam on the wall when he felt something warm being wrapped around him, falling into a warm embrace.
He was hoping pain after being slammed but now he is feeling warmth all over his body. His body is aching all over but this warmness around him feeling like medicine is being applied on his injuries with very carefully. He can feel the warmth of the ray of hope on his body. Then he heard the warmest voice he can hear in this situation with full of hope.
"I'm sorry for being late, my Megumi. It was hard to takeover that idiot's body, he isn't able to do anything but still doesn't want to give up..... Ugghhh!! What a pain in a$$."
Megumi is still weak that he can't even open his eyes but his heart his calm and his mind is clear now.
He has the believe that they can survive this situation.
The curse is surprised due to the sudden appearance of someone who stopped what it was doing. After looking closely it noticed that this human is the same human who was tied down there, to confirm it looked where it had tied Yuuji down. But that place is empty and only the ripped cocoon shaped threads are there.
It's the same human from before but still not same as before, this human is a little different. It's giving off a presence on a different level than before.
"What is with this pressure...??", The curse is getting a heavy pressure from this human now.
Sukuna ripped the threads around Megumi and the thread connecting Megumi and the curse. He lifted Megumi on his arms and started walking towards the door.
"Don't dare to leave.....!!"
"Same goes for you to, how could you think that I'll leave after what you have done with my Megumi."
The pressure in the room turned heavy and the pressure around that human turned heavier. Other spiders are also being wary of him... What they are feeling now is scare.
'This human is powerful, but I have something more powerful inside me. Khekekhe...'
