Misho stood up to get water. As he walked over to the water dispenser, he opened his phone.
"Maia is coming?"
Once he finished his glass of water, Misho entered his bathroom. The lights opened on their own, and he saw himself in the mirror.
"Hmmm… I'm still human."
Misho touched his foreheaed where the nubs were in Aphrodos. They were smooth and felt odd now that they were absent.
"My ears are fine…"
Misho turned to the side and checked the shape of his ears. They were round and very much human.
He pulled up his shirt and double checked that he didn't suddenly get a blue crotch tattoo.
"Phew."
Misho relaxed. He rested his hands on the granite counter top and stared at himself.
"Do you want a partner in Aphrodos? We're launching the first recommendation system!" a female voice came as an advertisement started playing on the mirror.
"They even have ads for that now?"
Misho looked at it with a face full of surprise.
He then took a piss and left the bathroom.
