Having more or less determined the general scope of everyone's powers, albeit not in a detailed fashion, the eleven demigods could finally discuss the grave matter of humanity's survival from an informed position.
There were countless minute decisions they had to make — minute only in the grand scope of the apocalypse, of course. In truth, each of these issues could decide the fate of thousands, if not millions of people. Put all together, these minor choices could decide the fate of all humanity, as well.
Luckily, the eleven Supremes did not have to figure out every little detail — like the precise deployment of troops, the timing of each resettlement effort, the resource allocation for the refugees, and so on — themselves. They simply had to decide the general direction in which they wanted to move and entrust the rest to their subordinates, who were far more competent in the infinitely complex task of managing the day-to-day function of humanity.
