Rebecca Quentin was completely at a loss with the situation before her. Bewildered, she let the servants guide her towards the villa behind. But no one expected Skyler Jones's voice to echo so mournfully from behind her frail back, "Becca, Howard Geoffrey has deceived you, he's deceived you for five whole years!"
Upon hearing what Skyler said, Rebecca Quentin's body jolted heavily. She turned around suddenly, her brow furrowed even deeper, confusion spreading wider in her gaze.
Howard Geoffrey had clearly been pushed to his limits. The rarely seen fury surged in his dark eyes, squinting as treacherous and dangerous light shot from them. He restrained himself and spat, "Skyler Jones!"
Skyler also glared fiercely at Howard, gritting his teeth as he exclaimed, "You are not worthy of her!!!"
Rebecca stood rooted in place, utterly clueless about the impending clash between the two brothers. Yet, the words repeatedly emphasized by Skyler made her whole face scrunch up.
