Rebecca Quentin continued to look in that direction, lost in her thoughts.

Mrs. Geoffrey called her several times before she snapped back to reality, "Hmm?"
"Let's go sit under the shade, the sun is too strong, the little one might be getting hungry."
"Alright."
Mrs. Geoffrey instructed the servant to bring a very thick and nutritious porridge and patiently fed Andrew.
Rebecca Quentin held Andrew, but her mind was elsewhere.
She had clearly felt that familiar gaze earlier, and out of the corner of her eye, there seemed to be that proud, upright figure...
But how could he possibly be here? He's in France now, and should be deeply in love with his girlfriend, how could he be here watching her?
She's really useless...
She's already told herself to forget, yet she still sees him fleetingly, and the pain when she thinks of him still so clearly surges to her chest.
