Howard Geoffrey took off his apron and wrapped his arms around Becca's waist, "You have all my life to slowly get to know me."
Becca's eyes glistened with tears at Howard's words, "Howard, we're together now, am I really not dreaming?"
"Are you still afraid?"
Becca nestled into Howard's embrace with affection, "When I woke up just now, I saw you weren't by my side. I was really scared... I feared that last night was just a dream, and when I woke, everything would change."
Howard gently ruffled Becca's hair with doting care, "Silly, I told you, I will never leave you again."
The plates on the dining table were cleanly eaten, and Becca stood beside the table, wrapping her hand around Howard's neck, complimenting once again, "Turns out your cooking is so delicious!"
Howard held Becca by the waist, "I haven't cooked in a long time, I'm a bit rusty."
Becca raised an eyebrow, "Are you bragging about yourself now?"
