Mrs. Geoffrey held Rebecca Quentin, comforting her, then turned lovingly to ask her son, "Skyler, why didn't you tell me you were coming?"
"I'm here to see Howard," Skyler Jones said directly.
"Howard went to the company, he'll be back by noon."
"I'm going to 'Skytop' now."
Seeing Skyler Jones get up to leave, Mrs. Geoffrey also stood up, anxiously asking him, "What's the urgent matter?"
Skyler Jones didn't answer and strode away.

Howard Geoffrey was leaning back in his chair, making a phone call, when suddenly his secretary's voice came through.
"Mr. Jones, Mr. Jones, you asked me to inform the president..."
But the secretary couldn't prevent Skyler Jones from stepping into Howard Geoffrey's office.
Sitting in his office chair, Howard Geoffrey glanced at Skyler Jones, then put down the phone from his ear and waved his secretary away.
After the secretary left, Howard Geoffrey then looked at Skyler Jones, "To what do I owe the honor of your visit?"
