Jiang Ruan and Yan Chi were already in a normal relationship. Meeting parents might be too early, but meeting her roommates was always fine. Her three roommates didn't know beforehand and really thought Qi Lie might come, catching them unprepared.
The three took the shuttle bus from school to the city; originally, they needed to transfer buses upon reaching the agreed restaurant.
However, the three were currently quite poor, and the starting fare for a taxi in Nanjiang wasn't cheap. They planned to walk, which would take over half an hour.
"I'll go pick them up." Yan Chi glanced at the restaurant outside; although it was already autumn, Nanjiang was still very hot.
Jiang Ruan nodded. Yan Chi didn't know her roommates, so she definitely needed to go too.
The three roommates were naturally happy to hear there was a car coming to pick them up, thinking it was Qi Lie renting one.
