Guandong Si Family
Yan Chi and Fu Chen came together, and aside from You Yunzhi and Si Qingxiao busy in the kitchen, everyone else went out to greet them. Seeing them carrying a pile of gifts, there was a round of pleasantries before they finally entered the house.
"...How come you brought so many things, it's really unnecessary. We just prepared a simple meal, hope you don't mind." Si Yushan said with a smile.
"Not at all, we're the ones intruding." Fu Chen was very polite.
"I was the one who forcefully brought you over at the last minute. Didn't expect to make you spend." Jiang Chengsi led them inside, introducing his nephew Jiang Mutang and Qi Zeyan's family of four.
Even though they were all in Beijing and knew each other, Jiang Mutang and Qi Lie were unfamiliar faces to the younger generation.
They all sat down in a lively group.
The sudden change in plans was a bit unexpected, and it was more distressing for Fu Chen to find that there were outsiders at the Si household.
