"Make room. Emilia needs space for the demonstration..." I say as I signal to the three annoying beauties to help me move the audience away from the stage that the Solus Temple people have set up for this stupid demonstration.
A few days ago, we began receiving numerous complaints from the Solus Temple, alleging that our clinic is engaging in unfair competition with them by offering healing services at much lower prices.
According to them, Delia is using illegal and questionable means to increase the power of her healing skills.
Illegal means that, if they exist, we must hand them over to the temple for security reasons.
At first, we turned a deaf ear to their complaints, as their accusations are meaningless and unsubstantiated.
However, when the Solus Temple involved some influential nobles in the matter, we had no choice but to publicly deny the accusations.
From then on, it was only a matter of time before they demanded proof, so we offered to conduct a public demonstration of Delia's healing abilities if they would prepare a place for that purpose.
A week after we conveyed that message to them, the Solus Temple had everything ready, and here we are today in this stupid charade, right in front of the clinic.
If Delia really used external means to amplify her powers, we would never have offered to do this demonstration.
As foolish as the Solus Temple people are, they must understand something as simple as that.
However, they accepted our offer, which makes us think they must have some hidden plan for today.
That's why, while Delia is sitting on a chair on the stage, Alessia and Arya are standing on either side of her.
The three annoying beauties and I, on the other hand, are in charge of watching the audience, acting as the first line of defense.
"... As you may know, a few days ago, the Solus Temple and some nobles expressed their concerns about the legality and transparency of the establishment that my girlfriend and I have set up here..."
'First the thief, and now this...
Delia's growing fame is starting to become a nuisance...
Haa... But she's happy helping people.'
"... Emilia's class is Priestess, as the knights who came to assist us in this demonstration have already seen..." I say, looking in the direction of the nobles and people from the Solus Temple who are in the audience, isolated from the commoners thanks to the troop of knights they brought as personal guards.
"... And she doesn't use any strange magical objects, apart from the perception inhibitor she is using to protect her identity, as you have also seen for yourselves..."
After saying those words, I take my sword with Chain out of my inventory and jump onto the stage.
"... Now we are going to give a public demonstration of the abilities of Priestess Emilia..."
With a fluid movement, I cut my forearm deeply and show it to the audience.
Thanks to my Physical Resistance profile, I don't feel the slightest pain, despite the damage my body has just received.
It is only because of this knowledge that Delia agreed to let me be the test subject for the demonstration.
Due to my Physical resistance profile, the wound is bleeding abnormally little, but that's not something ordinary people would notice.
Then I approach Delia, who is sitting in the only chair on the stage, and say "... You can heal me now, honey."
"Heal!" Delia exclaims with a distressed expression, without wasting a single second.
The fact that she agreed to let me be the test subject for the demonstration does not mean that she likes the situation.
After seeing how Delia used her skill without the need for chanting, the people of Solus Temple began to murmur frantically among themselves.
But this is not over yet.
Today, I want to settle once and for all any possibility that we might be questioned about the honesty of Delia's abilities.
"Thank you, my love..." I say, moving away from the fox girl and approaching the audience to show them my healed arm.
"... As you can see, I'm healed..."
Seeing my skin without any scratches, people watch with curiosity but also with little interest.
But that's normal.
So far, the demonstration hasn't shown them anything particularly spectacular.
"... And now we're going to give you even more compelling proof of Emilia's incredible and unmatched abilities."
"What are you talking about, Emir?" asks Delia, confused.
But I ignore her and nod affirmatively to Alessia.
My first girlfriend draws her sword with blinding speed and cuts my arm cleanly at the elbow.
At the sight of half my arm falling to the floor of the stage, the audience is truly impressed.
Some even take a few steps back in fear at the demonstration of the absurd ease with which the seemingly harmless young blonde woman could end their lives.
This time the wound bleeds quite a lot.
It also hurts a lot, even despite my Physical Resistance profile, but it's bearable pain.
"NO!" Delia screams and jumps up from her chair, knocking it to the floor.
Then she approaches me, and as soon as she reaches me, she shouts, "GREAT HEAL!"
After her words, in less than a second, the missing part of my arm finishes regenerating.
The only thing I felt during the fleeting moment when my arm was restored was a slight tingling sensation.
'How curious...
I had seen before how powerful her healing skills are, but this is the first time I have experienced healing of this magnitude firsthand...
I thought it would be intensely painful to regenerate a lost limb...
In fact...
Now that I think about it, as soon as she used her skill, I stopped feeling the pain from the wound.'
"As you can clearly see, I am healed. Completely healed..." I say, raising my regenerated arm high.
"... After seeing this, no one here can have any doubts about my girlfriend's honesty. I want you to tell your friends what you saw here today..."
"You're a fool," Delia whispers as she pouts reproachfully at me.
She didn't know anything about this part of our demonstration.
And it appears that my intuition not to tell her was correct, because, judging by her reaction, it is obvious that, if she had known, she would not have agreed.
In response to her words, I offer her an apologetic smile, but I continue speaking to the audience.
I need to ensure that no one will question Delia's reputation anymore.
"... The healing effectiveness of Saint Delia's clinic is real and is not based on any illegal means of operation. Anyone who says otherwise is lying."
As I speak, the audience looks in wonder at my restored arm, surely thinking about the miraculous healing they witnessed.
This level of healing is something that would normally be beyond the reach of ordinary people.
The people of the Solus Temple look at us with dismay and confusion, as this type of healing should only be possible for a person with the Saint class.
However, when the knights checked it out, everyone could clearly see that Delia is a priestess.
No one could imagine that Delia also has eight other classes activated and that Priestess is only the first on the list.
Slowly, the people snap out of their stupor and begin to applaud and cheer for Delia.
But the moment lasts only a few seconds, as suddenly at least a dozen arrows fly toward Delia from all directions.
