Ye Shenyin's head was poked out. Seeing Lu Qingxian look at him, he immediately withdrew his head but was a little too late. Lu Qingxian had already seen him. Slightly panicked, Ye Shenyin took the run and hid in his room.
Lu Qingxian frowned slightly before speaking " You know it's bad to eavesdrop, right?" From the place in between two houses to the left, Xiao Ying's figure emerged.
It was getting dark and the houses that are yet to be lit created coercing shadows as the sun sets.
"I.." Xiao Ying , who emerged from the shadow, rubbed his head, an awkward expression on his face.
"You too" Just as he was about to explain, Lu Qingxian looked to his right and frowned once again. This time, an elegant figure appeared.
Yang Mo waved at Lu Qingxian as he approached him from his right, no one knew how or when he got there .
"I came to personally congratulate Spring Water Peak for its reopening but it seemed like i came at the wrong time" Yang Mo openly expressed his intention.
Lu Qingxian was slightly stunned upon realizing that it was Yang Mo who came but he immediately readjusted himself
"Senior Yang is too courteous "
"Aiya no need to be so polite to me. Besides, it's just the two of us" Yang Mo casually waved his hand as he spoke, ignoring Xiao Ying's existence.
After nodding a little , Lu Qingxian no longer pressed on the matter instead he glanced at Xiao Ying and indifferently ordered : "With people watching him, he might have been anxious. Xiao Ying, do it in his house."
He believed that Ye Shenyin's action was the result of anxiety or shyness which was normal for teens. In light of this, Lu Qingxian no longer thought about scolding either Xiao Ying or Ye Shenyin.
"Yeah.. maybe he was scared so he insisted on doing it by himself" Xiao Ying also agreed.
"Wait-What are you going to do to who?" It was at this moment that Yang Mo spoke, after listening to their conversation. Then, after some quick pondering, his face lit up as if he had just discovered something interesting.
"I see. Kids are like this nowadays they are usually shy. Eventually he will learn to do it alone especially when he's on his spring days"
After throwing down his words, Yang Mo's delicate face twisted in an ugly expression
"Eh? Wait, w-why would you do that? Why would you destroy a his innocence? and it's a child too!" Yang Mo clutched his head, exaggerated.
His hysterical actions made both Xiao Ying and Lu Qingxian confused. What does age and innocence have to do with measuring one's uniform size?
The duo, Xiao Ying and Lu Qingxian, looked at each other and saw the confusion in the other's eyes.
"Senior Yang must have misunderstood something?" Lu Qingxian spoke to defend himself. Only then did Yang Mo realized that he might have really misunderstood however, his face was still grim.
"Right, we're just trying to measure that bra–i mean that kid's clothes size" When Xiao Ying added his statement, Yang Mo's originally grim expression lit up.
"Oh...so that's what you mean!"
He chuckled happily.
"Well then, i think it's better if you do it yourself"
"Senior Yang, what do you mean?" Xiao Ying took the initiative to ask , scratching his head in confusion.
In response, Yang Mo chuckled lightly "Well, you are talking to the right person!"
"Spring Water Peak's newly selected disciples are obviously quite wary and anxious. Therefore, i suggest humbling yourself and getting their trust is more effective than being intimidating"
"Why do i have to do it? Senior Yang ,please enlighten me" Lu Qingxian openly stated.
Since Lu Qingxian never had any junior brothers aside from Xiao Ying who had been independent all these years, he naturally dont know how it is like to have several junior brothers much less take care of them.
Acting as a senior brother he really is, isn't an easy task for him so naturally he disliked the idea of taking care of his fellow juniors.
After quickly adjusting his words, Yang Mo spoke up once again "Naturally youre not required to do it given your current title as a Peak Master. However, it's only temporary. Once the original Peak Master arrives, you would have to go back to being a senior brother to everyone.
" When that happens, im afraid they would feel anxious yet again that may result in your foundation's collapse. In light of this, to be able to make them feel comfortable at all times and build unity , you must... personally take care of them"
"I think it's a good idea , Senior brother Lu " Xiao Ying also voiced his opinion. At this moment, both Xiao Ying and Yang Mo came to a mutual understanding : the only way to build unity and trust is to personally guide the newly picked disciples.
In the end, Lu Qingxian had no choice but to give in to their suggestion. He too thought that Yang Mo's suggestion wasn't so pointless.
After considering, Lu Qingxian sincerely thanked Yang Mo before sending him off.
"I think it's not necessarily awkward to do such things" As soon as Yang Mo left Xiao Ying then stated , rubbing his chin, he seemed to be considering things from his own perspective.
"What do you think–eh?" before he knew it Lu Qingxian had already disappeared from his side, arriving rather quickly at Ye Shenyin's door.
Listening from outside, Lu Qingxian could tell that Ye Shenyin was hiding judging from the abnormal silence on the inside. Without further ado, he looked at Xiao Ying and signaled for him to go back to his own den and rest.
With a nod, Xiao Ying did not waste any time and left.
