"Nefra, baby, you're making me dizzy," I grabbed her arm before she could cyclone at me again. "What are you looking for?"
"My earrings!" she pulled away, digging through her bag.
This woman was going to be the death of me.
'Could you at least put some clothes on?' I'd seen her naked already, but there was something deliciously tormenting about Nefra in a towel.
"What earrings?" I didn't see any.
"I carry a pair in my bag in case I go out for dinner."
"Wouldn't they be in your jewelry box?" That was at Luke's house. The only clothes I'd brought to the clinic were comfy things she could relax in. "I can get someone to grab it."
"No," she snarled at me as if I'd said something offensive, and I took a step back. "I keep them here so I always have them. My necklace and bracelets are here, but not the earrings that match."
