"I'm finished!" Millie proudly held up her workbook.
Everyone said the kids had schoolwork, but I didn't realize how much supernatural work there is.
"Let's look," I took the book from her and scanned the page. She'd done everything, and she'd taken care to be as neat as possible. "I think you're done."
"Yay!" Millie clapped her hands, grinning at her siblings and Greg.
We'd taken over the ground floor visitor area since it's spacious and had large tables and chairs. The clinic didn't have many patients, and we had the place to ourselves.
It's also easier to go next door from here than to go back up to my room.
"Why does she get to do coloring books and I have to do this?" Zoe held up her own homework, which looked much more complicated. "Why do I have to learn statistics?"
