After I cancelled the communication spell I casted as Rose, I slammed my face on the table to feel the pain outside instead of inside my head. It was my first time casting such complex magic.
"Master, are you alright?"
Nora approaches me with a bottle of wine and glass on a tray. When she offered one, I immediately drank it to soothe my mind.
"Was that how the communication spell scratch your mind every time you use it?"
"No, but the distance you inputted into the spell is far beyond insanity! I'm shocked that your head didn't implode from that!"
"Well, it does feel like it."
After I finished the whole glass, I turn my attention to Zyph who was looking down at the parchment paper on the table while crossing her arms.
She had a very conflicted look on her face that I've never seen even once before.
