Nana arrived at the branch studio that morning carrying a complex whirlwind of mixed emotions. Today officially marked the start of the recording sessions for the Naruto production. Up until this point, the cast had spent weeks inside rehearsal halls, practicing their delivery over brief, isolated animation snippets and the episodes' animatics. But today, the training wheels were coming off—they were stepping into the recording booths to start working on the vocal tracks for the premiere episode's real scenes.
Voice acting had been Nana's absolute dream for as long as she could remember, but she was still a rookie in a highly competitive industry. While a massive surge of excitement vibrated through her chest, she had never shouldered such a staggering weight of responsibility before.
