Incognizant of the gap he caused in Mito's vigilance and how Black Zetsu had managed to exploit it, Shiki remained in his deep unconscious trance, his changes still ongoing.
In fact after a full day of unseen changes within, the boy's external self began transforming once again.
The Nirvana Seal, having spread its formula across Shiki's body through an automatic release, began autonomously operating the Nirvana Art: Samsara, utilizing the power and genetic information stored within itself to assist in the boy's transformation.
The next change to manifest itself was in his skin.
It began whitening, more and more until it became the color of chalk.
Not only that, while at a distance, it appeared to be skin, or perhaps even polished porcelain from how smooth it seemed, in reality, Shiki's skin had transformed into extremely fine scales.
And from the boy's head, deer-like shaped horns but obsidian in color and texture sprouted from his head, Dragon Horns.
This was the draconic transformation that came with the pinnacle of Ryumon achievement but Shiki presented a few key differences from his predecessors.
Namely, perhaps due to gathering the various pieces of the Otsutsuki Lineage and refining it into his Nirvana Seal, his transformation was taking some of their characteristics as well, mainly the smooth looking skin and overall whiteness.
Originally, the draconic form of the Ryumon possessed a silvery white mane and thick black scales that gave one a truly monstrous appearance, even in their humanoid form.
Clearly though, the additions made to Shiki's lineage through his Nirvana Seal were having a significant impact.
Once this latest change fully solidified however, a new period of calm set in.
Shiki's real body was still locked, floating mind air in a perfectly horizontal, lying down position.
Meanwhile, his thought form remained in a cross legged sitting position while similarly floating but in the void of his subconscious.
But just because no external signs were showing, it did not mean change was not taking place.
Huge quantities of the newly refined and improved Void Chakra began pooling in three specific locations.
Shiki's eyeballs, namely, his Ryugan, made up two of them.
The third, was behind the vertical slit on his forehead. There, what seemed to be a third eyeball was forming.
The dojutsu powers that were the signature of the Otsutsuki, the secret abilities of the Ryumon and even a few extra additions, all were pooling together to give rise to this new set of three eyes.
A darker, more velvety purple light seemed to bleed through Shiki's eyelids as his Ryugan, a dojutsu that took the form of pupilless glowing purple eyes took an even more intensely shining and enhancing, velvety dark purple color.
This was not something as simple as evolution, not a mode change like the difference between the three Tomoe and Mangekyo Sharingan which the user could switch between.
No, the original dojutsu was permanently evolved into a new form, still able to be activated and deactivated of course but now with greatly enhanced power as well as new functions.
Additionally, while unrelated to his dojutsu, as a result of his bodily transformation, Shiki's sclera turned pitch black.
The new dojutsu, as he felt its power, the boy decided to give it a simple yet imposing name, Shingan, the Divine Eye or Eye of God.
As a result of the evolution, the now called Shingan: Zenchi, underwent a significant expansion in sensory might though Shiki still had to explore its full capabilities.
But two new abilities also manifested.
One was given the name Shingan: Zenno. While Zenchi alluded to Omniscence, being an extremely powerful sensory ability, Zenno alluded to Omnipotence, taking the form of a powerful Chakra Mode akin to that of the Tenseigan's though unfortunately, it had yet to reach that level.
The first two abilities could then be combined into a third, Shingan: Zenchi Zenno, whose might was sure to be greater than the sum of its parts.
Unfortunately, Shiki instinctively felt that his new eyes were still in an embryonic form and thus, their third ability and ultimate expression of their power, was not yet available for use.
Besides those main abilities, there were secondary ones that could be considered sub-abilities of the three but it was up to the boy to fully explore the dojutsu's capabilities later.
The main focus of shiki's interest however, lay in his developing Third Eye.
It was the same location where Otsutski Kaguya awakened what was arguably the mightiest dojutsu in the known history of the Naruto World, the Rinne-Sharingan.
Maybe the Otsutsuki God, Shibai, had even more broken dojutsu, Shiki was not aware but for the time being the Rinne-Sharingan could be considered the most powerful dojutsu even if not the most useful.
But I digress.
The Third Eye being developed in Shiki's forehead was not a Rinne-Sharingan after all, but a fully original dojutsu.
What further built the boy's anticipation towards its formation, were the powers being pulled into the whirlpool of its formation.
It was far from being something as simple as Void Chakra combined with the genetic information stored in the Nirvana Seal.
Three more key ingredients were being added.
The first one was quite obvious, the Life Energy of Gelel, it made up a huge portion of the seal's raw power and it was an energy with tremendous enhancing and transformative qualities.
The second one came as a bit of a surprise, a power Shiki had collected and spent a good deal of time mastering but avoided using due to its non-legitimate origins, the Gift of The Sages which he "acquired" in the Fire Temple Years prior.
Now, the huge stores of the special chakra that were contained in a special artifact of the Temple were getting integrated into this third eye.
'Maybe I'll finally be able to get a legitimate use out of this power without being worried about being branded a criminal.' Shiki thought with anticipation.
But the most important ingredient came last.
A power originating from the source of the boy's most outstanding qualities, his reincarnation Trait, Trikaya, the Three Bodies.
Namely, the mysterious, reality bending power of the highest True Body or Dharma Body, representing the Ultimate Reality and true enlightenment.
This last ingredient was the true source of Shiki's massive expectations for the manifestation of this dojutsu.
'This is sure to be transcendentally cool. I need to come up with a suitably pretentious name . . .' The boy's focus was kept but seemed to be going in a less than standard direction.
Hmm . . . I better wait to find out what it looks like. Wouldn't want to think up a super cool name only to end up with a dojutsu that simply did not fit.' The boy reasoned.
Slowly, the vertical slit on Shiki's forehead began to open like a pair of eyelids.
Before the dojutsu was even revealed, before Shiki's physical form even showed this new dojutsu, a strange, transcendent pressure began emanating from him.
As if a higher form of life was making its presence known to the lowly, inferior species surrounding them.
Within the void of Shiki's subconscious, finally, the slit fully spread open to reveal the eye underneath.
