Raika didn't find Rio's words offensive at all; it seemed as if he had infinite patience, and a smile hung on his pretty face at all times.
He got up and walked towards the ruins and stood a few meters away from Rio.
Now the two were facing in opposite directions; Rio was looking at the sword of promised destinies while Raika was looking at the ruined temple as he asked with a teasing tone,
"Look at this ruin, look at the state of the beings in this place… look at the corruption and destruction spreading everywhere…"
"It's all caused by arrogance and selfishness, but someone like you who can control miasma can correct them…"
"You have the power to do this, don't you, Rio? Why not save them if you have the power to do so? Are you sure you will let them stay like that?"
Rio didn't change his expression at those questions as he replied in his usual emotionless tone,
"I am not a 'hero,' and I am not obliged to save anybody; It's none of my business…"
