Hearing Link's question, the old chief of the tribe sighed, glanced at the injured half-orc women sitting nearby, and then spoke in a solemn voice.
"We don't exactly know what that being was or is… but the day we brought that Lord Angel to our tribe, its ancient and powerful voice echoed in all of our heads…"
"That 'being' ordered us to deliver that angel to its altar…"
The old chief shook his head and continued speaking in distress.
"Our tribe has lived in this place for hundreds of years, and such a phenomenon never happened before…"
"So, we thought that we might have angered the deity that was once enshrined in this destroyed temple by bringing that individual here…"
Lia frowned after hearing those words and asked,
"So you all didn't even try to resist the sudden demands of an unknown entity that might do malicious things to your tribe if you fulfill its demands?"
