The nanobot with its little annoying eyes stared at us both towering over it. I was so done.
Janet's vicious laughter came through, and I almost squished the small thing with advanced technology under my foot.
"I always knew you were special, Roxy. The Devil's child?" She laughed.
"Yeah. So what? I'm mythical."
"Technically, half mythical. You're an asset to our regime, Roxy. Remember that. Once I've got a taste of finer things...I never leave them be. Never."
"Pft. Keep your dialogues to yourself, Janet. I know what you meant when you insulted my man like that." I said, shopping on the couch. Her holographic picture came through, a realistic height of her actual figure in Cyan and white lines display.
"Your man? What does he even mean to you?" She raised an eyebrow.
In a swift motion, I pulled Cyrus down on the couch, quickly angling myself so as his lips fell on mine. I pressed a confirming, chaste kiss on his lips.
Taking them by surprise was an understatement.
