Meredith's POV
Matthew stood by the door nervously, I was still in shock. "speaking of the devil here he is, well I will leave you two to talk, nice flowers by the way. Those are her favorites. I suppose you already know me but let me officially introduce myself, I'm Pamela, for you call me Pam," Pamela said getting off the bed to shake his hand, I don't know but it seems she was making him nervous.
"Hey nice to meet you finally," Matthew added as Pamela chuckled. She stared at me and winked before leaving the room.
"Hey, Meredith, how are you doing? I brought these flowers for you. I'm sorry to show up like this in your room but your dad let me in, Can we talk?" he asked.
"What? there are more lies," I asked turning my head to the other side.
"Well, first of all, these are for you," he said as he walked to my bedside and handed over the flowers. "I know I messed up, and I really want to make things right. I've been thinking a lot, and I believe we can be happy together."
