The Meng family escort agency started expanding five years ago. After they received the imperial inscribed plaque that year, the number of escorts in the Meng family shot up in a straight line.
Uncle Meng and Meng Pei discussed taking advantage of this opportunity to grow the escort agency bigger, and the Meng family escort agency in Chenggu County soon became the number one in the county town.
But the very next year, news came back that Meng Yunzheng had passed the exam as the top scorer and achieved first place in all six sections, and even more people came to the Meng family escort agency. Although after Meng Yunzheng resigned from office and returned home, some people still left, it was precisely because of this that the escorts who stayed were all the more precious, and were the elite.
That year, after Uncle Meng attended Meng Yunzheng and Shu Yu's wedding, he returned to Changjin Prefecture with Meng Pei and quickly opened a branch in the prefecture.
