Lex groaned as he picked himself up off the ground, feeling genuinely like he'd been punched in the gut. Not only had the teleportation been so sudden that he, even as a Heaven Immortal, could not react, but it had been quite forceful.
Dao Lords aside, it would even take some effort for Celestials to take Lex by surprise like that. Hurting him - or at least making him feel so uncomfortable - would require even more effort. There were, generally speaking, not many things that could actually harm him.
So then, for a mere teleportation to achieve as much was no small feat. But that was only the beginning, for the environment in this place was incredibly uncomfortable.
