Chapter 1535 - Chapter 1535. Brutal Beating.

"Interesting. You, whose beauty eclipses the Moon and the Sun, are quite an interesting woman. Let's talk."

A single sentence told Yasenia a lot about this man. While she didn't doubt he was a wise person, as reaching his current position was hard with just brute force, Yasenia also understood that this man's ascension to the throne had been quite easy.

So, he was a tyrant, but in the worst of meanings: a selfish and self-assured Tyrant.

Yasenia's expression didn't change, but her eyes showed a trace of hidden contempt. She more or less knew how the conversation would go.

Still, she made the effort, just in case. "King Tao, I am here, as I said, to ask for compensation. I was away for a few years due to some matters, but who would've thought that someone was trying to marry off my wife? So, either I get a satisfactory answer, or we will have a problem."

King Tao's smile faltered, his sword-like eyebrows coming together for a moment. "Wife?"

Yasenia knew that clarifying it would lead to this reaction, so she nodded. "Indeed. Andrea and I have been married for a long time. We even had children together. So, I hope Your Majesty will know how to carry oneself, and compensate appropriately."

King Tao looked at Andrea with a frown. "First, my stupid daughter. Now, you, a peerless beauty. What does that woman have for you to forget the natural laws of nature?"

Yasenia's face became a touch colder. "Whatever she has, that's for me to decide. King Tao, I am trying to speak with you because Andrea is a woman with a gentle heart. Therefore, I want to avoid as much bloodshed as possible. However, my patience is currently running low. After all, imagine your Queen being married off to a random man just because you were absent, I am sure King Tao would not feel great, would you?"

"Insolence!"

A guard captain shouted, glaring at Yasenia. However, before he could continue to speak, Xyrona flashed forward, grabbed the back of the guard's head, and slammed him against the ground.

BOOM!

The entire palace trembled as the woman spoke coldly. "Raising your voice to my Young Miss is a capital offense. There won't be a next time."

Swords and other weapons were drawn, pointing at Xyrona. However, the woman was unfazed, looking around with indifference. Then, she placed her hands elegantly in front of her and leisurely walked back to her initial position.

Every single soldier looked at Xyrona with an extremely guarded look, as barely anyone had even seen how or when she moved behind the person who opened their mouth.

Yasenia used her tail to gently caress her cheek as she passed by her side, but her eyes were always looking at King Tao. "So, can we speak now about compensation. Or will you continue acting like someone who is in control?"

King Tao's smiling expression also disappeared, looking at Yasenia from above. "You know that you are in the middle of my Kingdom, right? Do you really believe that you can escape unscathed from this place?"

Yasenia looked at him, and then sighed. She looked at Andrea and spoke. "I tried, Darling. But, sorry, I have not gained my strength to be looked down upon by a weakling."

Andrea opened her mouth, and then she just nodded. "I understand. Do as you please. I won't stop you from now on."

Yasenia asked, cautious. "Are you sure you won't feel bad?"

"I won't." Andrea smiled. "Your mood is much more important than these nobodies."

Yasenia smiled, and before King Tao could speak, Yasenia extended her hand and snatched the trembling princess into her open hand. Princess Tao's neck accurately landed in Yasenia's hand, and she smiled at King Tao.

"It seems that unless you see that I truly dare, you won't believe that you are nothing but a pathetic, weak King."

A woman near King Tao stood up, her face pale as she shouted. "STOP!"

Yasenia didn't stop, her hand clenched, and terrifying bodily energies compressed the space around Princess Tao.

BOOM!

A black void the size of Princess Tao appeared, making her disappear as if she were mist scattered in the morning.

"ARGH! MY DAUGHTER! KILL! HER! KILL HER!"

The woman screamed, her face full of fury and anguish. King Tao, meanwhile, looked at Yasenia and smiled. "You are truly interesting. You actually dared to kill that girl in front of me?"

His smile though, carried quite a bit of anger. After all, without being truly loved by her parents, Princess Tao's liking toward women wouldn't have been supported. "This King was ignoring the state you left her in because, once healed, we could finally make her give up on liking women. Who knew, you decided to court death in the most stupid manner."

The beautiful woman glared at King Tao. "Why are you babbling on and on! Kill her! No, capture her! I want to make her life miserable! I will make her give birth to a thousand children and kill all of them in front of her!"

Her maddened screams were something Yasenia's maids would not accept. After all, all of them wanted to have Yasenia's progeny, so her insults were not only toward Yasenia but toward their future little babies!

Yasenia felt the change of atmosphere behind her, and she spoke with an indifferent tone. "It seems that the Tao Dynasty has no need to continue existing. Eliminate all who are surnamed Tao."

King Tao waved his hand arrogantly. "Activate the palace's Killing Formation. Capture those that you can, kill the rest."

Then, he stood up and his aura skyrocketed, exploded outward with violence and revealing his Level Six Transcendence Realm strength and one [Light Reflection Intent Domain] at the fourth level.

Yasenia ignored everyone, and she walked forward a single step.

That one step changed the world.

The second Yasenia stepped forward, she unleashed absolutely everything except the few strongest trump cards.

The world around Yasenia shrieked, the space around her unable to contain the sheer magnitude of her strength, and then everything cracked like a mirror struck by a hammer.

All gazes converged toward the white-wearing seductive woman. Even the maids stopped for a second, admiring Yasenia's current show of strength.

"King Tao, you've angered a Dragon while being weak. Now, it is time to pay the compensation: Your Kingdom."

Before King Tao could react, Yasenia flashed in front of him, her fist barreling toward his stomach while collapsing the space before it.

He was unable to react, but thankfully, the Killing Formation activated and created a sturdy shield around him.

BOOM!!

The shield cracked, the world cried, and space shattered and reformed constantly. In the sky, Heaven gathered clouds, warning Yasenia that they would not stay cross-armed if she threatened the world.

King Tao reacted after the punch landed, and he quickly flashed out of the castle, but within the Killing Formation's range. 'What kind of speed was that? I couldn't follow her figure properly.'

Even within his Intent Domain, King Tao was unable to perceive Yasenia. A mellow yet cold voice reached him from behind. "Where are you looking?"

Yasenia's tail lashed at his back, and even with the shields, his body fell like a meteor toward the throne room.

He blasted through the ceiling, slamming into the center of the throne room.

Ebirah, standing by Andrea's side, gulped. "A-Andrea, I don't think my shell can stay intact against those attacks."

For Ebirah, who prided herself on raw defense, to say that, it showed just how tyrannical Yasenia's attacks were.

Leila, by their side, smiled gently, her dog tail wagging happily. "Madam, do not worry and just enjoy the show. We will keep everyone at bay so that they can see how powerless their King is."

Looking at the place where Eira had arrived, Leila's gentle, narrow eyes arched faintly. "Especially that woman who insulted our Young Miss."

The Queen, feeling the cold edge of the sword against her throat, looked at the white swordswoman at the side with a terrified look. She was not weak herself, but this maid had appeared by her side like a silent ghost, and before she could even squeak the sword was already resting on her neck!

Meanwhile, King Tao stood up with an enraged look. "As long as my [Divine King Dynasty] Formation is functioning, I am invincible!"

Yasenia descended in front of him, her face without any ripples. "Is that so?"

King Tao manifested a long halberd and swung it. "Standing in front of me, are you looking down on this King!? [Sky Parting Halberd Light Strike]!"

Yasenia saw the attack, and to everyone's surprise, extended her hand. Scales manifested on her palm right before impact.

BOOM!

The shockwave pushed back all mortals and low-level immortals, but Yasenia stood perfectly still, her fingers clamping around the halberd as its edge rested on her palm. The weapon had only penetrated a little bit, barely drawing any blood before the wound healed.

Andrea's jaw dropped. 'What kind of defense is this?'

Even Leila and the other maids were stupefied. After all, this attack was from a bona fide Sixth Level Transcedence Realm Cultivator! Even if he only practiced one path and his Intent Domains were lagging behind, his strength was nothing to scoff at.

Yasenia, though, was completely undeterred. Before reaching the Dragon Paradise, she was already able to fight and win against people of King Tao's strength.

Now? People like him were just weaklings.

Yasenia pulled the halberd, forcefully dragging King Tao forward, and then her fist swung upward.

Celestial Energy shone in her fist as it landed squarely on King Tao's jaw. Even when the powerful formation protected him, his body shot toward the sky as if he wanted to ascend to another dimension.

Yasenia's terrifying Spiritual Energy surged like a tide, and then she stretched her hand skyward. "[Celestial Dragon Claw]."

A gargantuan dragon claw, several dozens of kilometers wide, manifested above the Tao Dynasty capital. After grabbing King Tao, she made a downward throwing motion, as if she were dropping trash.

King Tao descended from the sky, and Yasenia lifted her knee with extreme precision.

BOOM!

King Tao's body bent like a bow, his stomach accurately having landed on Yasenia's knee. Moreover, Yasenia had perfectly killed all of his momentum, leaving him perched on her long thigh like an oversized accessory.

The previous solid shield around King Tao was now full of cracks, and King Tao's insides had turned into mush, making the man cough up blood.

Looking at the King coughing at her feet, Yasenia felt nothing. This, for her, was no surprise. She perfectly understood her own strength, and someone of King Tao's caliber was just an appetizer.

She turned around and spoke with an indifferent tone toward the deeper parts of the palace. "Seen enough? A dynasty as long-lived as this one should have some Ancestor or something that appears when the dynasty is about to die, right? Show yourself, or I'll slaughter every single person from the Tao lineage until it disappears and is forgotten by Heaven itself."

"Sigh… Child, you are so talented. Why would you forfeit your life so soon?"

Yasenia looked at the old man who appeared, and she smiled faintly. "Forfeit my life? I've barely warmed up with this pathetic creature you call King. How about exchanging a few blows to see if you don't end up the same as him?"

The old man looked at Yasenia gloomily, and then, he flashed toward the sky. Yasenia followed, her golden eyes having a hint of interest. 'I wonder, will he be enough to be considered a main course?'
