The first rays of dawn had barely kissed the sky when we left the shelter of the ancient trees, our boots damp with morning dew. The forest gradually opened, revealing a scene that snatched the breath from my lungs. It was a hidden paradise known as Astral Haven.
Nestled against a towering cliffside, it was a symphony of nature's finest work. Waterfalls cascaded like liquid diamonds, their spray misting the air and setting the world aglow with countless rainbows.
"Is this real?" I whispered, more to myself than to my companions.
"Looks like something out of a dream," Alyna replied softly, her eyes wide with wonder.
Roy, ever the stoic guardian, simply nodded in agreement, his gaze taking in the defensive advantages such a place offered. But beneath his warrior exterior, I knew he was just as moved by the beauty before us.
