Akira slowed near a particular stall, eyes narrowing slightly as he studied the colorful display. "I doubt you've tried this."
Zaelek leaned slightly closer. "Condensed sugar fibers."
Akira blinked. "…You make it sound disgusting."
Akira pointed at it, and moments later, he was handed a cloud of spun cotton candy, impossibly pink in color.
Zaelek watched as Akira tore off a small piece and held it up.
"You're supposed to try it," Akira said with a gentle smile. "That's part of the experience."
"I'm not interested—"
Akira raised an eyebrow.
Zaelek exhaled softly, then leaned forward to take a bite.
The candy instantly dissolved in his mouth.
His pupils widened, and his movement stilled.
"It's good, isn't it?"
Zaelek didn't respond. He straightened his back and let out a fake cough.
A second later, he pointed at another cloud of candy and took out a wallet from his pocket.
Akira couldn't help but laugh as he saw this.
"Did you steal that from Kaito?"
