Joy Sutton looked at Nancy Sutton's indifferent attitude, feeling a bit irritated. It's always the same; this good sister of hers always acts so composed, as if nothing can affect her.
She's used so many tactics to try and disturb Nancy Sutton's emotions, but not once has it succeeded, which truly frustrates her.
"Nancy, do you know what I hate most about you? It's your always self-righteous attitude of thinking you have mastered all the information. What exactly is so great about you?"
Joy doesn't feel reconciled at all. Even though she and Nancy are both daughters of the same father, yet Nancy is always so outstanding, and she herself can never surpass Nancy. Everyone's first impression is always Nancy.
And she seems to be mediocre in every aspect. She's just not satisfied; despite Nancy being unmarried and having a child, getting kicked out, why is she able to return so gloriously now?
