After chatting with Alvin Hughes for a while, Nancy Sutton finally sent him off. She checked the time and realized it was time for her to leave work. Remembering her two kids were waiting for her at home, she set aside her work and headed home.
As soon as she entered, she hugged her two little treasures, just like always. Then she asked in confusion, "Where's Grandma? Why don't I see Grandma?"
The two children didn't know either. They had been playing with the nanny all day today, so they hadn't noticed Grandma. Therefore, the mother and children together entered Grandma's room, only to find the old lady's face very flushed.
Nancy Sutton immediately felt that something was wrong, and then handed the two children to the nanny. She touched the old lady's forehead and found that as expected, Grandma had a fever.
She was of a decisive character, so she immediately carried the old lady on her back and took her to the hospital.
