When Nancy Sutton returned to her meeting room, she found Susan Irving already sitting there. Upon seeing him, Susan immediately stood beside her, agitated, and began to accuse him.
"Nancy Sutton, I really didn't expect you to be someone who badmouths people behind their backs. Ms. Hally has already warned me, was it you who did this?"
Susan felt particularly frustrated thinking about it. He had always feared Ms. Hally, but he didn't expect to be directly criticized by her this time.
He had always been mindful of this. Although he didn't want to work with Ms. Hally, he maintained a good collaborative relationship with her.
Though he often didn't want to help Ms. Hally or even extricated himself from things, he never ripped the relationship apart.
This time, however, Ms. Hally directly pointed out his betrayals, which really scared him a bit.
