In the somewhat empty and quiet hall, Denon and his group passed through the Illusion Gate hovering in the center and entered the hall.
"Why is it so quiet around here?" The young man with blood on him raised his head and looked at the surroundings.
The entire hall seemed to be enveloped in a peculiar silence, with no passersby present. Only a few figures were seated at the guidance desk not far away.
Denon gazed at this scene, slightly taken aback.
This is the headquarters of the Abnormal Association. Although most of the staff should have gone off-duty by now, this level of quietness still felt unsettling.
The young man with bloodstains turned around, intending to walk toward the guidance desk.
Just then, Denon raised his hand to stop him.
Denon then took a step forward, passing the young man, and walked to the guidance desk.
Sitting at the desk were two young girls, one blonde and one brunette.
