"I didn't expect you to be so strong. I guess, I was too weak to make you my wife. Maybe next time I would try to make you mine." Storm expressed while coughing out blood through his mouth. He quietly laughed as his face turned gloomy.
Riley bended her knee ripping off a piece of her clothes. She leaned her hand towards Storm face wiping off the blood next to his mouth; Even in victory Riley showed kindness towards her foes. The gentle kind spirit she was.
Sensing something Riley quickly turned her head as few footsteps approached her side. Three six assassins were approaching at her on all sides. They gripped their blades rushing towards her side.
Riley rolled back her eyes and her started to glow demonic blue. She rushed forward clinching her fists, when near them she thrust assassin face sending him flying back. She dodged a strike from another assassin, while landing a uppercut towards the assassin stomach making him kneel down.
Towering above the assassin Riley swiftly kick the assassin head landing unconscious. She stepped back evading two thrust from two assassins. He quickly grabbed both assassins wrists slamming them to each other. She then grabbed both assassins necks, she swung them off the ground throwing them far. Riley slipped a blade coming from her back side, she immediately jumped back from figure. The assassin rushed at her swinging their blade. Riley evaded the strikes very well while landing a quick strike at the figure neck. While the other assassin fell down the last one blast a fire attack on her back. She immediately grabbed the falling assassin body using him as a body shield. She thrust the blade at the last assassin neck, she then threw out the other assassin body dashing forward and grabbing the blade from the assassin neck. She swiftly slashed his body up lastly stroke the blade through the figure skull area.
"This day is not looking good for me. First was those assassins, then the fires and this assassins also, huh!"
While looking up at the sky more assassins surrounded her all around. Riley blankly stared at them powering her aura. The assassins rushed towards her.
On the western fields.
Lennox was transforming back to his human size. He swept his eyes looking at the destroyed field he clinched his fists in anger; The fields he had worked his entire life to sustain were destroy in one day. Veins appeared above his forehead while he slammed his fist towards the ground.
Suddenly, loud screams filled the surrounding area. Lennox closely glared at were the noise was coming from. His eyes were filled with shock as his people were getting killed by many the assassins.
'Why would they do this, don't they want me? Why are they not only coming after me? Please come after me!!' Lennox rushed towards to protect his people. His eyes were filled with tears running towards them. Many of the people he grew up with them had respect towards them. He could not believe why the council would kill their own people just for power.
"Let's kill them fast so we can kill Ryan ourselves!" The assassin muttered while slashing through many civilians. The other assassins also grinned slashing at the civilians.
Reaching, the area Lennox thrust the first assassin sending his face towards the ground, then quickly grabbed two assassins faces slamming them down with the back of their heads. He swiftly kicked the side of another assassin approaching his side, while falling down he thrust a hard kick to the figure chin. He immediately rushed towards the other assassins taking them down one by one. He took out 20 of the assissans alone.
A amused laughter came from the hill side. Dark loudly laughed seeing Riley and Lennox taking down his assassins. He was told that only Ryan was a big threat, but two figures with almost equal strength rivalling the strongest adventurer were right in front of his eyes. His whole body was screaming for him to go fight them, but he had to remind himself to calm down as the only person he was after was Ryan.
"They look a lot of fun to play with, huh! I wonder if I kill one of his friends Ryan might go all out from the start, hah!" Dark clinched his fists looking out with excitement. His murderous intention were spreading to his surroundings.
"Huh! I finally got them all," Riley dropped to her knees after taking down 30 assassins including Storm. She struggled to raised herself off the ground she realized that her body had reached it limit.
A couple of assassins showed up towards the scene finding on the ground. They immediately rushed forward at Riley. While rushing to approach Riley side a strong wind blew all the assassins sending them flying. Two long black boots landed right in front of Riley face. Riley smiled who had arrived.
Ryan stood next to Riley tired body. He crunched down checking on Riley. "You really pushed yourself. I guess you couldn't wait for me to come back right," He wicked his eye at her smiling. He lifted her off the ground holding her on both his arms.
He firmly looked at the approaching assassins. His eyes glowed white and his hair floated through the air as pressure of wind surrounded him creating a hurricane that lifted both Ryan and Riley off the ground. The assassins were blew off by the strong hurricane. Both Ryan and Riley disappeared from inside the hurricane.
Moment later.
Ryan abruptly placed down Riley body outside the chief house. He lied her down out the door. Riley looked at Ryan feeling gratitude towards him.
"You know, you could have just place me inside the house." Riley said sarcastically.
Ryan gently smiled and stated at her saying, "I'm lying you out here so I can keep my eyes on you there. Im sure you might try to enter the battle once you started to heal up. Right here I can keep a close eye on you if you try anything." He winked his eye at Riley. Riley face turned flustered with her cheeks turning flushed red.
