After arriving at the Bai Family's house, I ran into Bai Rou. Bai Rou seemed to have put on a little weight recently, as if overflowing.
The atmosphere was quite intense. Yuchi held little Ximo without letting go, using Ximo as his shield. Without Ximo, he wouldn't dare come to see Bai Rou alone. Although they were old friends, the fear was real.
If such a thing devoured him, the outcome would be very tragic indeed.
With Ximo, Bai Rou's words became much more appropriate. She kept throwing flirtatious glances at Yuchi while smiling and recounting some past events.
In the winter, warm papaya milk was nice, so they sent some to little Ximo. Ximo was also feeling bored, so they chatted, and over time, the relationship between the two grew quite well.
Yuchi was certainly grateful.
When others were good to him, he might not be intensely moved, but if they were kind to those close to him, he truly appreciated them.
After a bit of conversation, they got along quite well.
