The battles in Medicine Master Valley are completely different from those of the cultivators. The latter's fights are quite straightforward, whether it's with arrays or other secret techniques, they primarily change the state of spiritual Qi to directly attack the opponent's body. The body is an essential part of the physique, and if it suffers irreversible damage, the cultivator is surely doomed on the spot.
Medicine Master Valley, however, directly attacks the divine soul. To someone like Yuchi, a complete outsider, he has no idea what the two are doing; he can only see a chaos space appearing between them, in which all sorts of demonic and ghostly things can be seen.
These things are not traditional monsters, but ghosts. Ghosts are like spirits, inherently transparent, turning the entire cave into a haunted graveyard in no time. These gaseous souls can phase through surrounding obstacles effortlessly, moving freely throughout the area, as if equipped with a wall-hacking cheat.
