Rose's POV:
After eating, Mira made me burp and tucked me to the bed.
Even though I expended my energy to various things today, I am not tired and I can't sleep. Especially after hearing that news from Mira.
Maybe deep down within me is a worry that I might get implicated. I can't afford to lose this peaceful life that I have! And I must honor my mother's wish, for me to avoid the complexities of the Palace.
I stood up, and decided to practice my Water Element Manipulation.
Water Ball
The ball materialized and I started guiding it through the pot.
"Alpha, are you there?"
"User, Yes."
"Do you have a security function of any sort?"
"User, Alpha can scan the vicinity and notify the User for anything to note for."
"That's good to know, Alpha! Please sound a blaring alarm bells to my head so that I'll wake up immediately. This way, I'll know if it's dangerous or not.
After casting 12 water balls, the Experience Points jumped to 6%, and sleep soon came to me.
I layed down the bed and drifted to sleep.

"Host, a person is trying to forcibly enter through the window. Wake Up!
I woke up abruptly and covered myself with a transparent water shield. I sure hope that this will stop the intruder.
I also readied a water ball in my palm.
"Intruder, Approaching!"
I clutched my my cotton dress with my free hand... And nervously glanced at the place where Alpha said he discovered the intruder.
I can see his silhouette but I can't see his face due to the decorative mask blocking the way. His steps are extremely light, this is a sign that he's an expert at this!
He arrived right in front of me and silently raised his hands holding a dagger. He raised it, and plunged it in my way.
I closed my eyes and heard of the crack. I opened my eyes to see a slight crack to my water shield.
That was close!
If I slacked off practices, them maybe I would have died, here and now!
