On the way back to the dorm from the cafeteria, Sydney Sawyer was still grumbling at Lauren Brooks for taking matters into her own hands.
"It's so tough these days. You try to be a good wingwoman and you still get grief for it," Lauren Brooks said, using her height to her advantage as she slung an arm around Sydney's shoulders. "Don't tell me you don't want to see Mr. Lockwood in a pair of swim trunks, showing off those abs?"
Sydney Sawyer suddenly recalled the sight of Sebastian Lockwood after his shower, and her face instantly flushed red.
"What's wrong with you? Your face is so red. You must be imagining some R-rated scenes," Lauren teased.
"No, I'm not. The weather's just too hot."
"Our days together, the four of us, are numbered..." Lauren said, pulling Coco Gordon into a hug as well. "After graduation, who knows when we'll all be able to meet again."
Cecilia Lowell was speechless. 'You don't exactly look heartbroken about us parting ways.'
