「Friday, the day of the graduation ceremony.」
The weather forecast had announced heavy to torrential rain for the evening, so the day was a mix of cloudy and sunny. The temperature wasn't high, but the air was so hot and humid it felt suffocating.
The students were to gather by class in front of the university gymnasium at 1:30 PM before entering in order.
The seating area for family and friends was separate from the students', so before gathering, Sydney Sawyer needed to get Sebastian Lockwood and Chester Sawyer settled.
"Sebastian."
Sydney Sawyer spotted Sebastian Lockwood first, then noticed the person beside him.
"Chester?"
He was wearing a tank top under an open, short-sleeved shirt with a red and blue pattern, a pair of black shorts, and his hair was a mess of unruly curls.
He flashed her a grin so bright it outshone the July sun.
"What in the world are you..."
