"Hurry up and go meet your Mr. Lockwood." The rain had just stopped, and Lauren Brooks and the others were eagerly pushing Sydney Sawyer out the door.
She had sent Sebastian Lockwood a message, but he hadn't replied for a long time.
She tried calling, but no one answered.
This struck her as very unusual. When she called Chester Sawyer, he was at an internet cafe playing online games with two other guys. He didn't even know there had been a downpour outside, so naturally, he couldn't get in touch with Sebastian Lockwood either.
"He's not a kid. Maybe his phone just died."
Chester Sawyer, being a kid himself, figured nothing bad could have happened to Sebastian Lockwood and was more concerned with his game.
Sydney Sawyer waited for a while at their arranged meeting spot before heading directly to his hotel.
"Are you looking for Mr. Lockwood?"
She had been here before, so the front desk clerk recognized her.
