Sydney Sawyer had already showered and gone to bed. She told Chester Sawyer to go back to the hotel and wait for news, then changed her shirt and quickly got out of bed.
"Syd? Where are you going so late?"
"I have to take care of something. I'll be back soon."
Sydney Sawyer rushed out in her slippers. Considering they had almost come to blows in the restaurant, she was worried that if they drank too much, they might tear the bar apart.

When he found him, Ryder was in a private room, having already finished a bottle of liquor.
A dozen or so opened bottles of various liquors were on the table. Ryder Sharp was currently pouring a glass full of yellow wine. Seeing Sebastian arrive, he merely flicked his gaze up without a word.
