Inside the private room, after Ryder Sharp and Chester Sawyer left, Ronald Sharp laughed in sudden realization. "Look at me, so caught up in conversation. You two should go get some food as well. We can eat and chat."
Sydney Sawyer smiled and nodded. Just as she got up, Jane Spencer shot her a look.
The mother-daughter pair met in the vegetable section.
"What exactly is your relationship with him?"
Ronald Sharp might not know, but Jane Spencer had her suspicions. The last time she'd video-chatted with her daughter, it was in the middle of the night, and her intuition told her something was going on between the two of them.
Sydney Sawyer held the tongs, feigning composure as she placed a few leafy greens onto her empty plate. "Mom, did you know he knows Mrs. Lockwood?"
"What?"
The sudden mention of Regina Lockwood took Jane Spencer by surprise.
