Just before he could ponder over how this was possible when he was possessed not long ago, his Divine Sense scanned his bloodline and his eyes widened.
The other Elders noticed the change in his expression and whooshed over, asking, "What is it?"
The grey-haired Elder scanned him once again before withdrawing his Divine Sense.
He then took a breath and looked at Max with a burning look in his eyes, "This boy… he is a gem!"
Max responded with a polite smile, feeling that the Elder wasn't a bad guy because he didn't try to scan his Dantian like he said he wouldn't.
