They were shocked by so many important figures' sudden presence in the coliseum, but were also excited because it told them something monumental was going to happen.
They watched as everyone but Disciplinary Hall Master, Velerie, Isolde and the Blue-Haired young man took their seats. So, they focused their attention on the trio.
"Are they going to battle to death?" Suddenly someone asked, but no one replied because Velerie was starting to speak.
"Today, Disciple Isolde Grimheart and Disciple Maxwell Garfield are going to have a Life and Death battle. Elder Blood Flower, Grand Elder, I and all of you are going to be witnesses to it."

Just as Velerie finished speaking, a boom sounded out from the arena and one of the combatants was sent flying and smashed onto the ground along with their companion beast.
