When Song Huichen didn't hit Gu Chanhui and instead lowered his hand, Song Huishi couldn't help but look at him in confusion.
Song Huichen felt his face burn in humiliation but he didn't dare strike again. After all, it was never a good idea to enrage an enemy you can't see through.
"You want to know what's going on?" He coldly said, then pushed Gu Chanhui forward, which made him stumble and fall, "Ask him, he will tell you all about it."
Max looked at him for a second which made him look away. Shaking his head inwardly, he took another bite from the fish in his hand, walked forward and helped Gu Chanhui up.
He then grabbed a stool behind the counter of the shop and helped him sit on it.
"Chanhui, right? Tell me what happened without leaving any details." Max said, chewing the delicious fish meat. As he gulped it down, he felt his fiercely burning hunger ease up a bit.
Gu Chanhui stared at Max and seeing his uncaring behavior, he became even more uneasy.
