Penelope shakes her head before she holds Old Duke Harrison's arm.
"Then I will hold grandpa's arm so you can stop me from slipping on this road."

Clementine shakes his head when he quickly discovers Penelope decided to choose his father so that he will not stress himself so much. The Old Duke probably discovers it. But instead of making a fuss about it, he decided to enjoy his granddaughter's company and starts walking again with a satisfied smile on his lips.
