Aaron looked at Ocean's blue eyes, was she here for something? No, she couldn't have pinpointed it was them who killed her brother. There was no way, Aaron weighed whether he should kill her right now or later. Ocean as speaking but he couldn't hear. "-llo? Hello?" Aaron was brought back to the realm of the non-analyzing. "Oh, sorry about that. Did you need something?"
"Yeah, I was wondering if this was the Tiger Kickboxing club?" Ocean asked. Aaron nodded. Ocean sighed in relief. "Good, at least I didn't get this wrong..."
Aaron noticed something was wrong with Ocean, probably because her brother... sister? Uhm, eh brother was dead or missing right now. Ocean sighed. "Have you seen a person that looks like this?"
Aaron looked at the dead boy's picture, he knew exactly where he was. Should he take this opportunity to lure and end her life with the others? No, that'd grab too much attention as well as disrupt Main's plan. He shook his head, Ocean seemed disappointed but left to go register, Aaron decided to practice again. His break was done. Aaron was doing some very heavy exercises when he saw Ocean looking at him again. Really annoying, ain't the girl got any common sense? Aaron thought bitterly, he'd rather not be watched.
Ocean noticed this and popped a small sorry before turning away, good. However, both of them had different ideas in mind. Ocean thought this 'Aaron' kid knew something about her sister. And Aaron was cautious around her, however slim it was a possibility that she knew he knew something. Aaron wasn't going to risk it, he quickly got into mental contact with Richard. Richard seemed surprised, but he asked what was up. Aaron quickly explained the predicament he was in, and like how Richard rolls.
"Kill her. Lure her to us and we'll deliver a stunning blow." Aaron swiftly shot that idea down. "We can't be killing anyone. Main won't be happy."
Richard clicked his tongue, this was bad. "Hmm, how about befriending the girl? She's Rohan's twin, so befriend her. This way you can slowly manipulate her."
Aaron thought about it, for such a bloodthirsty and murderous clone a broken clock's right twice a day. "... I'll get into contact with Lilith, she's a girl right? So she should know basic manipulation tactics."
"Maybe." Richard shrugged before cutting the mental connection. He quickly contacted Lilith.
"Hey Aaron! Whatcha need?" Lilith was based on the 'eccentric' part of Rowan. Richard was based on Rowan's cruelty and willingness, Aaron was based on his self-discipline and control, and Lilith was based on Rowan's enthusiasm and kindness.
"You know how to manipulate someone?" Aaron asked. Lilith was a bit shell shocked. "Why do yo ask? Dodging does use a little physiological influence as much as it uses speed, agility, and flexibility."
"I need your help on a mission." Aaron explained everything. Lilith nodded. "I guess I could lend you my help. But are you sure about this? Ocean seems like a good person-"
"Did I or Main forget to mention we killed her brother?" ... big reveal. "Oh, okay what do you need help with?"
With Rowan. Rowan looked on TV, there was a fight downtown. A hero and villain, the villain was being demolished by the hero, each one were moving so fast that even the cameraman couldn't keep up. Rowan thought about his current skills, he didn't have a superpower which directly amplifies his speed or power. But with the clones, he could train his skills and body to a new height. This should be his diction, if he wants to get revenge against the strongest of the bunch who had the power of multiplying her power and speed by ten, he'd need a lot of clones. Now that he thought about it, there were those rifts.
A rift was basically a pocket dimension when the first superpowered person came into play. Rifts held monstrous beings, if a rift wasn't completed within a week of its appearance something called a rift break would happen. The rift would no longer be one way but two way, monsters could go out into the streets and bring havoc. Thus superheroes, vigilantes, criminals, and supervillains alike complete these rifts. But it isn't for nothing, every time you complete a rift your body and power would be strengthened. Sometimes you'd unlock an ability as well. Depending on the rank of your rift you'll get stronger scaling that scale. However, rifts were strictly controlled by the government meaning non-heroes couldn't enter. It was an option though.
Rowan begin to snap his fingers impatiently, he wasn't patient at all. He needed blood now, though it's only been a day since last chapter. Everyday he waited felt like torture, he wanted revenge now. But if he did it now then he'd be too weak to compete against the strongest. He needed to bide for time, otherwise he'll lose his second chance at revenge. Yet, his enemies were getting stronger as well. The longer he took for revenge the more connections Jason would get, the more boys that would fall for Isabelle, and the more training she'd get.
Snap, snap, snap, snap, snap- ding dong. Huh, someone was here? Weird, Rowan's family, friends, and anyone else who cared for him had long left. Mainly because of the trio, Rowan was cautious. He was supposedly 'dead' and the dead don't answer doors. But he figured it would be okay to take a small peek through the door hole. A girl about a year older than him with black hair and red eyes was at the door. He knew who she was, Penny the tyrant. Penny was someone who constantly bullied and stole stuff from him. Why was she here? He could take this opportunity to strike, but she had a fearsome power which allowed her to break through her limits once a day. During this time she'd be nigh invincible to those a rank above her and a powerful foe for two ranks above her. But if she used her power twice a day she'd enter a state of extreme weakness that a simple breeze could knock her over.
What was her plan goddamnit!
